Veterinarian
Dr. Juana Argiró is a dedicated veterinarian with professional interests in preventive medicine, surgery, and dermatology. She is committed to providing practical, compassionate care and believes that thoughtful, individualized treatment is key to helping pets live healthier, happier lives.
Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina and raised in Miami, Florida, Dr. Argiró developed a lifelong love of animals early on, along with a strong desire to help them whenever possible. She earned her bachelor’s degree in biological sciences from Florida International University in 2020. Dr. Argiró completed the first three years of her veterinary education at St. George’s University in Grenada and went on to finish her fourth-year clinical training at the University of Edinburgh in Scotland, graduating with her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2025. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association.
For Dr. Argiró, the most rewarding part of veterinary medicine is building meaningful relationships with pets and their families and knowing she can make a real difference through personalized, compassionate care tailored to each patient’s unique needs.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Argiró enjoys reading, gardening, hiking, and spending time outdoors with friends and family—especially at the park or the beach. She shares her life with her pothound, Pretzel, whom she adopted during her time in Grenada and brought along on all her adventures. Dr. Argiró is deeply grateful for the support of her family and friends, who have been with her every step of her journey to becoming a veterinarian.
